BIOGRAPHY
Born at the US Naval Academy Hospital in Annapolis, MD. Mr. Ameche relocated to Los Angeles CA, and passed the California Bar exam in 1997. The California bar exam is arguably the hardest bar exam in the country with a pass rate of just 34%.
Mr. Ameche learned the legal profession with years of practice in the trenches of the Los Angeles Superior Court system.
Mr. Ameche was a lawyer for KingWorld CBS Network, working directly under CEO Roger King. KingWorld produced such shows as Inside Edition, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
Mr. Ameche was a lawyer for the Hertz Investment Group working directly for CEO Judah Hertz. The Hertz Investment Group is one of the leading real estate development corporations in the world controlling over twenty million square feet of Class A office space spanning twenty-three major cities.
Mr. Ameche was the lead attorney on a landmark wrongful death case which went to the US Court of Appeals. Mr. Ameche, along with famed forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril H. Wecht, defined the issue of delayed drowning. Mr. Ameche personally delivered oral argument in the Third Circuit Court in front of a large auditorium audience in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Ameche gave a solid unwavering confident argument. He successfully settled the case after a 2 year battle, which was highly contested by defendants.
Mr. Ameche served as Treasurer and Secretary for the Malibu Bar Association. He was also a judge for the Pepperdine Law School Moot Court Competition. He has personally raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charitable organizations. He personally hosted celebrity driven charity events along side such notables as Cindy Williams, John Larroquette, Stacy Keach and many others.
Mr. Ameche returned to his native Maryland in 2015. After passing the Maryland Attorney Bar Exam, he now exclusively practices in the State of Maryland as a sole practitioner in the areas of criminal, traffic and personal injury law.
